Katharina Weber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She completed her Master’s degree at the University of Göttingen as part of the Matter to Life graduate program. For her Master’s thesis, she investigated the migration behavior of epithelial cells during wound healing. In October 2024, she joined the BPM group as a PhD student, where her research now centers on the synchrony of nuclear divisions in Physarum polycephalum.
