Agathe Jouneau was a student at École Polytechnique in Paris, majoring in physics with a particular interest in soft matter and biological physics. Intrigued by the capabilities of the slime mold Physarum polycephalum, she joined the group for a one-semester internship to study how the dynamics of Physarum‘s flow network allow it to remember the location of stimuli over time. She is now working on her Ph.D. at LMU Munich in the group of Joachim Rädler.
