Jan Jedryszek interned at the European Space Agency and DLR to work on lunar regolith Bio-mining technology. He finished his bachelor’s in Neurobiology at Jagiellonian University, focusing on pattern formation during neurodevelopment. Jan joined the Max Planck School program Matter to Life at Heidelberg University with a specialization in Chemical Systems Engineering. In 2022, he started his joint lab rotation in the groups of Karen Alim and Friedrich Simmel, focusing on Physarum’s nuclear activity and dynamics and replicating these phenomena in synthetic systems.
