Fabian Drexel is an undergraduate physics student at the Technical University of Munich. He joined Karen Alim’s research group in 2022 to write his bachelor’s thesis on anticipating repeating events in unicellular Physarum polycephalum networks.
After completing his bachelor thesis, he stayed in the group as a research assistant to study the behavior of Physarum polycephalum networks using flow simulations and peristaltic contraction pattern analysis.
