Leonie Bastin studies physics at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen. Previously, she has worked on experimental projects investigating the influence of loops on the transport in networks of Physarum polycephalum and the role of smart, responsive hydrogels in self-organized network optimization. She did her master’s thesis on the effect of transient stroke on network morphology.
