
Teresa Maunz obtained her Bachelor‘s degree in Physics at the Graz University of Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Physics at the University of Groningen. She is currently pursuing a Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics at the Technical University of Munich.
Since May 2025, she has been conducting her Master’s research project in the groups of Prof. Alim and Prof. Simmel, being supervised by PhD student Alexandra Bienau. She is working on creating synthetic microfluidic setups that imitate how Physarum polycephalum transports and exchanges information between nuclei.
