Nora Deiringer received her bachelor’s degree in Biophysics from the Humboldt University Berlin, researching elephant trunk whiskers. In 2022, she joined the Matter to Life graduate school in Göttingen.
In her master’s thesis, she investigated anticipatory behavior and mechanisms of learning in Physarum polycephalum in the BPM group. Curious about many unanswered questions in her project, she decided to continue her work on the mechanisms of learning as a doctoral student starting in April 2025.
