Julian studied Physics and Philosophy at the University of Göttingen since 2017. He received his bachelor’s in physics in 2021. In his bachelor he investigated the influence that the dynamic regime of a network has on its ability to perform tasks, that require short- and long-term memory. The supervisor of his bachelor thesis was Viola Priesemann. Since 2020 he is doing his master’s at the Max Planck School of Matter to Life. Now he is doing a Lab-Rotation at Karen Alim’s group, simulating the memory formation of slime moulds. He examines the influence of the timescales of different dynamics on memory formation.
