Jan Jedryszek interned at the European Space Agency and DLR to work on lunar regolith Bio-mining technology. He finished his bachelors in Neurobiology at Jagiellonian University, focusing on pattern formation during neurodevelopment. Jan joined the Max Planck School program Matter to Life at Heidelberg University, with a specialization in Chemical Systems Engineering. In 2022, he started his joint lab rotation in the groups of Karen Alim and Friedrich Simmel, where he is focused on Physarum’s nuclear activity and dynamics and on replicating these phenomena in synthetic systems.
